bio-Boost Foundation Biofilm Generator

A biofilm generator for freshwater aquariums. bio-Boost Foundation combines prebiotics with a selected group of beneficial microbes to support water quality, fish health and long-term tank balance. It provides grazing surfaces for shrimp, fry and delicate fish, supports nutrient cycling and water clarity, and benefits plant roots. Shrimp and fry safe.

Ingredients

Prebiotics: rice bran, inulin, brewer's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae).
Microbes (six strains): Pseudomonas fluorescens, Bacillus megaterium, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus pumilus, Bacillus subtilis.

How to use

1. Add to a new or existing aquarium, preferably in a high-flow area. Existing tanks: no more than 1 scoop per 50L per week. New tanks with no fish: 1 scoop per 25L, twice weekly.
2. Allow 48 to 72 hours for initial microbial colonisation and biofilm development.
3. Expect clearer water, more natural grazing by fish and shrimp, and healthier plants over time. Results typically begin within days, with visible changes within 1 to 2 weeks.

Compatible with nitrifying bacteria. Not recommended alongside prebiotic powders such as Bacter AE. A double dose is acceptable in a new tank, but overdosing is not recommended.
