bio-Boost Foundation Benthic Biofilm Generator

A surface-focused biofilm generator for planted, shrimp and naturally managed freshwater tanks. Designed to settle through the water column and support microbial activity on substrate, wood, stone, botanicals and other submerged surfaces. Compared with standard Foundation, it emphasises the lower layers of the aquarium, the "bottom-dweller" of the Foundation range. Shrimp and fry safe.

Ingredients

Feed blend: rice bran, kelp (Durvillaea potatorum), spirulina, brewer's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), calcium bentonite.
Microbes (six strains): Pseudomonas fluorescens, Bacillus megaterium, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus pumilus, Bacillus subtilis.

How to use

• Established aquarium: no more than one scoop per 50L, once weekly.
• New aquarium without livestock: one scoop per 25L, up to twice weekly while the system establishes.
• Sprinkle across substrate, hardscape or planted areas. Placing it near moderate flow helps distribute it.
• Allow about 48 to 72 hours for the material to settle and microbial activity to begin.
• Don't combine a full dose with other concentrated prebiotic powders.

A supplement to normal feeding, filtration and maintenance, not a replacement. 60g treats up to 6,000L.
