This website is operated by Fish Hut Aqua & Pet Supplies (“Fish Hut Aqua”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”), together with any additional policies referenced or available by hyperlink, including our Shipping, Refund, and Live Arrival policies.
These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, merchants, vendors, and contributors of content. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform enabling us to sell our products and services.

Fish Hut Aqua may offer discount codes, automatic discounts, bundles, loyalty offers, seasonal promotions, or other special offers. By using any promotion, you agree to the following:
1.1 Changes to Promotions
All discounts and promotions may be changed or discontinued at any time without notice. Only the promotion applied at the time of checkout will be honoured.
1.2 No Retroactive Discounts
Promotions are not applied retrospectively. If a promotion increases after you place an order, the higher discount will not apply to previous orders.
1.3 No Stacking of Discounts
Unless explicitly stated, discounts cannot be combined. Only one promotion may be applied per order.
1.4 Excluded Items
Certain items may be excluded from promotions, including but not limited to:
- Live fish and livestock
- Clearance or sale items
- Gift cards
- Already discounted products
1.5 Minimum Spend Requirements
If a promotion requires a minimum spend and items are removed causing the order value to fall below the threshold, the discount may be removed.
1.6 Misuse or System Errors
If a discount is applied incorrectly due to misuse, manipulation, or system error, we reserve the right to cancel or adjust the order and issue a refund where appropriate.
1.7 Refunds on Discounted Orders
Refunds are processed based on the amount paid after discounts, not the original retail price.
SECTION 2 — ONLINE STORE TERMS
By using this site, you confirm you are of legal age or have consent for minors under your care. You may not use our products or services for unlawful purposes or transmit malicious code.
A breach of these Terms may result in termination of services.
SECTION 3 — GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time, provided such refusal is not unlawful.
Content (excluding payment information) may be transmitted unencrypted across networks. Payment details are always encrypted.
You may not reproduce, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of our service without written permission.
Due to the natural and living nature of aquarium livestock, all fish, shrimp, snails, plants, and other live animals may vary in colour, pattern, size, finnage, temperament, and overall appearance. Images displayed on our website are intended as a general representation only and may not depict the exact specimen received. Factors such as age, genetics, diet, lighting, stress during transport, water parameters, and acclimation can temporarily or permanently affect the appearance and behaviour of livestock. Unless specifically stated otherwise, livestock are supplied at juvenile or sub-adult sizes based on availability at the time of shipping. By purchasing live livestock from Fish Hut Aqua & Pet Supplies, the customer acknowledges and accepts these natural variations as part of keeping live aquatic animals and understands that such variations do not constitute a fault, defect, or false advertising. Customers are always welcome to request photos and/or videos of available livestock prior to purchase or shipping if they are unable to visit the store in person, and we will do our best to accommodate such requests where possible to help avoid disappointment.
SECTION 4 — ORDERS, AVAILABILITY & CANCELLATIONS
All orders are subject to availability.
Some products, including pre-order items, live animals, and fragile goods, may not be immediately available or may become unavailable prior to dispatch due to factors outside our control, including supplier availability, livestock welfare, damage, weather, or shipping limitations.
Pre-Order Items
Items listed as Pre-Order are not held as immediate stock and are supplied once availability is confirmed. Any timeframes provided are estimates only and not guaranteed. If supply becomes impractical for any reason, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund or suitable alternative.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify any order prior to dispatch and issue a refund or alternative where appropriate. Where an order is cancelled and refunded, the transaction will be considered finalised.
We also reserve the right to decline future orders or refuse service at our discretion.
SECTION 5 — INFORMATION ACCURACY & ORDER CUT-OFFS
While we aim for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information on this site is complete, current, or error-free.
Order cut-off times are typically Saturday 1:00 PM or Sunday 1:00 PM, depending on seasonality and workload. Orders placed after cut-off may be dispatched the following week.
Urgent delivery requests must be communicated prior to ordering.
SECTION 6 — PRICES & SERVICE MODIFICATIONS
Prices are subject to change without notice. We may modify or discontinue products or services at any time without liability.
SECTION 7 — PRODUCTS & SERVICES
Some products may be available exclusively online and in limited quantities. Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund and Live Arrival policies.
Product images and colours are displayed as accurately as possible, but variations may occur due to screen differences.
We may restrict sales to certain regions, individuals, or quantities.
SECTION 8 — BILLING & ACCOUNT ACCURACY
We reserve the right to:
- Limit quantities
- Refuse or cancel orders
- Cancel orders associated with the same account, card, or address

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
